New Boyz "You're A Jerk" Music Video (HQ)

Jerkin' or Jerk is a Los Angeles dance movement.[1] The Jerk movement started in 2008 in Los Angeles and spread across Southern California.
Since 2009, jerkin' has gained fans along the West Coast and is gaining popularity on the East Coast.[2]
The dance itself consists of moving your legs in and out called the "jerk", and doing other moves such as the "reject", "dip", and "pindrop".[3][4]
This type of dance resembles a dance that became popular in France in the early 2000s, popularly referred to as "tectonic dance", featured prominently in the 2007 video of the song "A cause des garçons" by the French band Yelle. The styling and moves are quite similar although Jerk has developed its own moves that bring in American hip hop influences.
